I love to try recipes I find on Pinterest. My latest find, however, is a game-changer. There have been a few of these: The jalapeno grilled-cheese sandwich, Nutella turnovers, and now ... strawberry brownies.
Behold:
The recipe is insanely simple and these babies bake up in less than 15 minutes. I've already made and shared 2 batches and there's another batch in my oven as I type this. My favorite part is that the glaze (an easy mix of confectioner's sugar and either water or milk) is to be poured over them while they're warm. You don't even have to wait for them to cool! The batter is very thick and sticky so I plop the whole glob into my cake pan, then press it out towards the edges with my fingers. It's fine if it doesn't touch--it'll spread as it bakes. The consistency is exactly like brownies--chewy, a little crisp around the edges, and oh, so delicious. And they are SO EASY. The first batch I made disappeared in under 2 minutes and every single person took a second serving. My son actually cried on Labor Day because I wouldn't let him have one for breakfast. Give strawberry brownies a try and share them with your friends. They are a great, different treat!

I made these last week, I brought them in to work and everyone LOVED them including MY FAMILY!! I even had a co-worker say "give me that recipe!" LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
