OK gin and tonic fans, here is the holy grail:
I picked up a bottle of Q tonic water at the store the other day; while artisanal tonic water sounds kind of silly, I had heard good things about it. Sure enough, this stuff is awesome--less sweet than regular tonic water, with a really clean flavor. (Caitlin loves it too, so you know it's good!)
On the recommendation of a guy at our favorite local liquor store, my husband brought home a bottle of Plymouth gin. If you like gin, you must give this a try. To me it tastes like the quintessential gin--totally crisp and refreshing.
Mix them together (with ice and a generous wedge of lime, of course), and you have the perfect summer cocktail.

Ok...so i have that exact table and desk set in the back ground and used to have that set of glasses this Gin Tonic is in! I also forgot I liked Gin Tonic. On the way to the store!! :)

This post inspired me to try some high-end tonic. I picked up some Fever-Tree tonic (mostly because it came in a four-pack of individual bottles, which I prefer to one big bottle). I mixed it up with some Hendrick's gin, and I have to say, it is a delightful gin and tonic! I still have to try your version, but I'm curious to hear if you've tried Fever-Tree and how it compares to Q.
