This holiday season I have a feeling I'm going to be in the kitchen far more than seasons past. First, there a lot of December birthdays at work. In addition, I'm going to gift some treats to all my co-workers for Christmas. Next, Kyle has a half-dozen or so teachers at school who deserve a little something. Last, I'm giving baked goods as gifts to friends beacuse it's a cost-effective (and tasty!) way to show them they mean a lot to me.
But just what am I making?
Glad you asked!

These deeeeeelicious-looking ten-layer bars.

For My Co-Workers Christmas Gifts
These yummy (and easy!) nutella fudge bonbons wrapped up in little bags.
For Special Teachers
I bought some festive holiday tins and I'm going to put two kinds of cookies in each. First, how about some straight-up, old-fashioned chocolate chip cookies? And maybe some homemade mallomars, too.

For Great (Distant) Friends
I'm going to send some small tins with Italian Anise Cookies tucked inside. (Thanks to Nora for the reminder about these tasty cookies.)
For Great (Local) Friends
I picked up a few of these mugs at Anthropologie for a few special friends. Inside I'll wrap these chocolate caramel cookies in cellophane bags tied up with a pretty ribbon.

Happy holiday baking to one and all!

I like to bake Russian Tea cakes and put them in a blue colored gift bag with "Schwetty" written on them. Then I pass them around the office with notes that read "Hope you enjoy the contents of my Shwetty blue ball sack!". That's one of my all time favorite SNL skits!
