If you hang around long enough, you'll (quickly!) learn this about me: I love a good party. And while I long for the day it's both socially acceptable and financially possible to throw a wedding for yourself each year, I also love smaller, quirkier parties too. Ones with easy themes and original ways to celebrate.
For instance: a dessert party!
Last year I threw a champagne and cake party, and I stocked up on bottles of bubbly and boxes of Sprinkles and celebrated a good group of friends. I'd love to do something similar one day but for a smaller (sit-down) crowd.
Here's what I'd make:

These chocolate truffle tarts (recipe from Tartelette), and I'd serve them on these pretty plates from Anthropologie.
And how about these cute spoons to eat them with?

And how about these chocolate mousse tartlets. (Holy yum.)

And maybe a molten chocolate lava cake, which you'll need some cute ramekins for.

Finally, it's just not a party without a cocktail, am I right? How about a chocolate espresso bellini.

And pour those suckers into these flutes.

Chocolate, champagne, friends. I really can't think of a better night.

I have 6 of those ramekins if you need to borrow!
