We are hooked on "homemade" popcorn at our house. I make my own microwave popcorn to make it even easier. I just use a brown paper lunch-type bag, put the popcorn in with a bit of oil or even a spray of Pam and salt. Put it on a plate and fold over the edge of the bag a couple times and zap it till the popping slows down. I picked it up from Good Eats, where Alton Brown said to staple the bag closed, but I just fold it since my stapler's not in the kitchen. Yum.

This is the ONLY way to make popcorn. My dad always made it on the stove and that is the way to go. :)

I do the paper bag trick (sans oil) and the stove top method! Love it! Lately I toss with coconut oil, salt and nutritional yeast.
