A while back, I read an article or saw a documentary featuring the life and work of Vera Neumann, an incredible textile designer that produced work primarily in the 40s and 50s. I instantly recognized her work and style (and iconic signature) as something that I had grown up with in the kitchens of my mother and grandmother.
So, I was pretty thrilled to stumble on these newly produced dishtowels from Crate and Barrel that feature vintage, original Vera designs, newly re-released to them. They're definitely from another decade, but I think they're still so charming.
