I've never cooked with them, but I've eaten them before and I'm a big fan.

I love them. So weird that you should link to the drunken noodles post - I just had drunken noodles for the first time this week and I'm hunting for a good recipe. You'll have to let us know if it turns out.

If you feel ambitious, you can try making them your own. I couldn't quite get them cut thin enough but stomping on the dough was kinda fun.

I love this chicken udon soup recipe and have made it a dozen or so times with great results: http://www.lifesambrosia.com/2010/04/chicken-udon-noodle-soup-recipe.html

My chicken noodle soup has always been terrible (not enough flavor, overcooked noodles, too many noodles, etc.), so this has completely replaced it. I bet the sriracha would be great for a cold!

I have been tempted to start making noodles at home but have been so intimidated. I am not good with baking and my attempts at other homemade dough type things like green onion pancake, roti, etc have been utter flops. I love you video and I think you have inspired me to try these udon noodles at home! Wish me luck!

stop ringing in ears

About 5 years ago I was diagnosed with severe clinical depression. This is not the average depression, this is the sort of depression that causes suicidal thought. And trust me, I was once at the point of no return but somehow managed to get by. The depression went undetected for quite some time, probably 3 years or so. My psychiatrist prescribed several different types of anti-depressants and in varying doses.
