My British grandmother (she's really British... as in the rest of that 1/4 of my family still all live in England) is not a very good cook (except her Yorkshire puddings and trifle!), so I always bought into the theory that British food isn't good until I actually spent some time over there. Turns out, it's just her. :-)

I love, love, love that they actually have an afternoon tea over there. I really wish that had come "across the pond" to stay over here.

You know, I am always afraid of mint. I'm not a HUGE fan, but have been wanting to incorporate it into food more. This sounds like a perfect way to do so! And with one of my favourite veggies!

Thanks for taking the scary out of minted peas. I'll give it a shot this week. Something bright for rainy days!
