I use a lot of ziplocs for freezing, but I am starting to use mason jars for soups and sauces. That way I can reuse them. Also, sometimes it is hard to get soups out of ziplocs when they are frozen solid - you have to defrost a bit/sometimes they leak are messy. With the mason jars, I can put them on the stove in a pot of water and start defrosting when I am not organized enough to do it ahead of time.

Another thing I do is line my pyrex dishes with aluminum foil/parchment paper before I assemble the meal. Then I flash freeze it for an hour or two, pull it out and wrap it up. Saves space and then I don't have to throw out the pan.

Reusable Containers
