I can't remember when I first discovered these light crunchy snacks, but the fact is I DID find them and they're now in my life and they're not leaving any time soon. But here's the problem. They come in either small, lunch-sized packages that have about 8 chips in them and aren't nearly satisfying enough, or you can buy the full-sized bag, which is considerably bigger, but not by much so it's VERY easy to eat a whole bag without noticing while you're watching an awesome British comedy on Netflix called Green Wing (which is like a MUCH funnier version of Scrubs) while you're sequestered in your bedroom while new windows are being installed in your house. Not that I did that today or anything. Okay, maybe I did. So maybe i'm writing this out of guilt so that I can get the fact that I did eat the whole bag off my chest and let it go and forget about it forever. Although there's another bag of Sour Cream and Onion flavored ones in my cabinet that i'll have to confront at some point and then I don't know what will happen. The Salt and Vinegar bag is what did me in, but there are some other pretty intriguing flavors that would probably also destroy my willpower in a matter of seconds (Thai Sweet Chili, Salt & Pepper, Parmesan & Garlic, Sweet Potato).
The POINT of all this? Pop Chips are very, very tasty. And also considerably lower in calories and fat than potato chips, which is the only saving grace of this whole experience.
