When I'm looking for a recipe I mostly look online. It's the easiest way for me to find a recipe that only requires ingredients I already have. However, sometimes I find recipes on the sides of pasta boxes, or soup cans, or frozen veggie packages that look good.
I've tried several over the years with WILDLY varying results. Some of them have made it into our rotation of favorites, others were so bland we might as well have been eating cardboard. Despite some serious misses, I'm sure I'll continue trying them, looking for more recipes to add to my collection.
I'm curious: do you try recipes from product packaging, or do you like to stick to looking in the traditional places?

I generally look through cookbooks and Pinterest for my recipes. However, there is a blog written by a woman who is trying all of those recipes on the sides of boxes and cans. It is called http://cookingontheside.com/

Try http://www.supercook.com/ you can enter one or more of the ingredients you already have and it will pull recipes for you from tons of different websites. It is really cool!

I was recently eating generic lucky charms and the side of the bag had a recipe for treats you could make with the cereal. I made it. It was awesome. So yes, every once in awhile I do. But mainly I get recipes online. And if I like it I print it off and put it in one of those sheet protector things and stick it in my recipe binder.
