Once upon a time, I did the Special K Diet. Basically, you eat Special K cereal twice a day, plus you get one "sensible meal" and you lose six pounds in two weeks. The thing I missed was snacks. Now, you are allowed on this diet to eat as many fruits and vegetables as you want, but I wanted crunchy snacks. Sweet, crunchy snacks. Nowadays, Special K offers several types of snack options, like crisps, bars and the like. My favorite? Pastry Crisps. Blueberry to be exact.
These light, flaky crisps are just sweet enough to banish the need to jump into your kid's leftover Easter candy, but light enough so that you don't feel icky. They are crispy, topped with a thin ribbon of icing and filled with a thin layer of berry goodness.
If you're looking for a good snack to keep in your desk, these are it. They'll satisfy the need for something sweet and crunchy and at 100 calories per pack, they won't leave you feeling guilty.
