I realized something this week. I cook with cheese a lot. Probably way more than I should. However, I should qualify this with the fact that I make this Mac and Cheese dish for almost every special occasion, dinner party, or holiday, and that requires a lot of cheese grating. Grating cheese also happens to be one of my least favorite preparation tasks. However, after buying these on a whim a while back, I don't hate cheese grating so much anymore:
It's a simple enough concept. You grate the cheese directly into the container, use what you need, and then cover it (with the cover that comes with it!) and put it in the fridge to keep until your next cheese-related cooking endeavor. I just love the design and simplicity of this grater, and the price can't be beat. For $4.99, I got two containers (black and red), each with a cover, and two graters (one for shredded cheese, one for grated). The only downfall of this grater is that there's no protection for your exposed fingers when grating, so watch those digits, kids!

This is seriously the best grater EVER! And like the best thing I've randomly purchased at IKEA ever.
