For my birthday, I received a Oster waffle maker. It's awesome and just like a hotel waffle maker. We've already used it 5 times, and I've only owned it a month. This is mostly because my husband likes waffles, and he'll make them for us.
The waffle recipes that came with the Oster are a little time consuming. I don't enjoy making stiff peaks on a Sunday morning. Every time we use the waffle maker we use a new recipe, to see if this one is any easier.
Last week we made Annie Eat's buttermilk blueberry waffles based on Elisabeth's suggestion. They were great!
I need a good and EASY waffle recipe. Do you have any? Should I break down and just make them out of a box?

We have had good luck with this recipe for "Waffles of Insane Greatness": http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/40-a-day/waffle-of-insane-greatness-recipe/index.html. Easy to throw together if you have all the ingredients. I have subbed half of the white flour with white whole wheat and have omitted the 30 min. rest and they still worked well.

I use the recipe in the better homes and gardens cookbook (the red plaid one).
