I actually really liked it, but it did have a little bit of that Food Network Star palpable nervousness to it that I thought was kind of funny. Well, funny because I just imagine the Pioneer Woman to be like, the most confident person ever since she dominates the internet, so it was nice to see that she is pretty real.

I'm DVRing it...I mean hell, I DVR ever other food network show practically (EXCEPT CUPCAKE WARS, GAWD!) so why not? ;)

Life of a Doctor's Wife

Loved this line: "I could see myself garnishing it with some vodka." HA!

I haven't seen the show, but it doesn't sound like every other cooking show... so perhaps I will check it out!

I don't have cable right now so I had no idea Ree had a show! (I also don't keep up with her blog) I did see her on Bobby Flay's Thanksgiving Throwdown last year and loved seeing her on TV. I think I'd enjoy her show if I ever get cable.

Christy

She was definitely nervous. I told my husband that as soon as she gets used to the camera, it'll probably be a good show. I mean, have you seen the very first Emeril shows? They're terrible!

I think on Twitter she said the drink was supposed to be like something from Orange Julius. Which sounds good to me!

Miranda

I completely agree with everyone else- liked it but once she gets comfortable the show will be even better.

Jen

I just watched it today while I ate my lunch! I agree with everyone else- she seemed nervous and not used to the cameras, but obviously that's to be expected. I will keep watching because I think she's adorable and I love her cooking. Real food! Imagine it :)

Caren

Definitely Orange Julius. And. Yes. A vodka garnish works well.

KT

Maybe you've already found it, but this website has the orange juice drink recipe - I also see that she may have posted it on her Facebook...
