You can make pizza dough!! Though I don't have a recipe handy to share. I know my brother uses his all the time for this purpose though.
And I'll be checking back here to get some ideas for whenever I'm lucky enough to own such a device. ;)

Your new mixer is so pretty! My favorite thing to use the mixer for is for whipping egg whites--a chore that used to take forever w/ a handheld mixer but now I can just turn on my mixer and walk away for a few minutes. And a lot of meringue desserts are actually pretty low-cal. Check out Deb's pavlova as an example: http://smittenkitchen.com/2007/04/a-ballet-of-sorts/

I also really liked the pizza dough recipe that I linked to in this post: http://www.foodlushblog.com/2010/11/neapolitan-pizza-at-home.html. You can make it ahead and then have homemade pizza on a weeknight.

As for attachments, definitely get the ice cream maker attachment. Makes awesome ice cream and sorbet and is so much less cumbersome than having a standalone machine.

Have fun!

I use PW's recipe for pizza dough and it's delicious (and freezes well).

As far as other recipes, I make guacamole in mine quite a bit because it whips the avocados and lime juice pretty awesomely. Whipped cream and merengues = excellent (and much healthier than buying them premade).

I have the ice cream attachment and it's fabulous. I would also suggest the beater blade (I want one bad)and I'm also thinking about getting a shredder because I hate dragging my food processor out for cheese shredding and I hate doing it by hand. Plus, cheese is one thing you didn't give up for BBL. ;)

Mrs. Mix It
